Peeling Onions

I’ve been meaning to post an intro, but I haven’t. Now I have. Rejoice!

It’s exciting to see that there’s clearly more than family and friends reading this comic (with complete and utter promotional neglect on my part), and my intro is directed more to you.

Hello strangers that come daily to see what I’m doing. I’m flattered and curious about you – from where do you come? How did you find us and what do you think? What’s going on with you and what do you believe?

I’m thrilled to finally have this platform to connect and interact with the larger world. I think people are endlessly fascinating – a microcosm of depth and discovery. I put out my comic because I feel a deep need to create connection through story – “This is my life, this is happening to me… do you resonate? do you connect…understand…? This hurts, this is great, I love/hate/rage/joy….how do you feel?… what do you think?”  I want to know – I’m interested in what you know, what you think, feel… I’m interested in what you believe.

I’ll explore my own beliefs in this blog – and pretty much whatever topics I’m interested in at the moment.  Art, culture, pop culture, physics, marketing, retail, human interaction, manners… whatever’s niggling at my consciousness at the moment has equal opportunity to be discussed.

I promise to try to be transparent and authentic – to be as fully human as possible: imperfect and gloriously flawed.

I’m hoping you’ll keep me on track and call me on my bullshit and speak as close to your own truth as you’re able.

I’m hoping that in turn, you’ll be brave enough to share your life and experiences with me.
