“Always be aware of the business of art.”

I had a great time interviewing Jason Edmiston.

It was looooong – so be prepared for a 2 hour marathon… but, if you can hang in – it’s packed with great info and interesting conversation.

Jason’s really authentic and generous with his information – he doesn’t hold back what he knows and now you get to benefit.

Jason and I talk about his art path and how he got started – what worked for him and how now he’s broken through to a new level.

HBO & Mondo Present:

Game of Thrones Gallery Show

Today is the opening of the Game of Thrones Gallery Show presented by HBO and Mondo Gallery in Austin Texas.

Jason is one of the artists involved – now I know for what he was painting Daenerys Targaryen and her dragons.

Can’t wait to see it.

Oh... here it is. ©Jason Edmiston

Discussion (7) ¬

Today, in celebration of the HBO & Mondo Game of Thrones show – an interview with Jason Edmiston.

We talk art and passion and success and Jason is (as always) uber generous with his advice and information.

I had a great time chatting with him for (2 HOURS!) – go check it out… there's a bunch of good stuff there.

    Theodoros Kolokotronis says:

am about an hour in and its really interesting. great lessons that are applicable in all aspects of life. terrific job.

Great – yay! Yeah, I was worried it might be too long and boring, but I re-listened while editing and it was engaging.

Jason’s great to talk to and so generous with his knowledge.

Thanks! Jason was really generous with his knowledge and the 2 hours race by.

    Theodoros Kolokotronis says:

its really great how you are creating a community for artists to learn from each other. i think its so important to create these types of environments for "kids"/young adults.

    Theodoros Kolokotronis says:

and yeah, Jason was terrific. I remember him being a really nice guy in high school so its nice to see he hasn't changed much.

    Lezley Davidson says:

My target market isn't kids or young adults – my audience is actually 35+ (if my Google analytics are accurate). I'm sure young people can benefit from the website – but they're not who I'm talking to.
