If you want to make a transparent paint opaque but NOT pastel… we’ve been pretty much out of luck.

Until now… kind of.

Opacifying Medium has small hollow acrylic spheres that refract the light within the paint and make it more opaque without adding opacifying agents that whiten colour.

This works… kind of.

It works better than any other opaquing medium I’ve tried – but there’s still something white going on and there’s still some pastel effects happening.

But mostly, good job.
