Honestly, I feel like I’ve wasted most of my life not knowing that this guy’s art existed.
This guy, is Eyvind Earle.
I’ve never encountered an artist who’s work makes me want so much. I just want all of it.
It’s one of the things I’ve always loved about Disney and Looney Tunes – the flavour of background art that was representative of the art aesthetics and movements at the time.
Seriously – look at this stuff.
The negative painting… *sigh*.
Are you kidding me?
This doesn’t even scratch the surface of what he’s created in his lifetime.
