Welcome back to the Watercolour Minutes!

Graded wash is where we finally get into what feels like “painting”.

Instead of flat areas of colour we are creating volume and rendering shape with the addition of water to lighten the paint pigments.

I was kinda digging the Copic markers on the wood pad – so I did a whole pumpkin marker drawing and I’m not hating it.

So there’s this really super fun cheap stuff called bleeding tissue paper.

It’s filled with juicy dyes that spread all over the place when you add water.

(They’re super cheap though – so really, really NOT archival.)
