mathpatrolThis post is going up for purely selfish reasons.

Oh sure, I totally hope that you enjoy it and get as stoked as I do about the beauty of math. (In fact there are a lot of math-based Feature Fridays lately – so this isn’t coming completely out of the blue.. but still.)

I’m posting this so that I can find it again in the future when I want to watch it again and touch base with the automagicalness of this beautiful universe we live in.

SunflowerFibonnaciGoldenMath and science can often seem so cold and devoid of emotion. I am drawn to math and science that shows beauty and great soul truths of our existence.

It’s also nostalgia. Math Patrol is also nostalgia.
(Also aside, I just cried a bit when I watched Simon in the Land of Chalk Drawings. I think it’s the first time I’ve heard that intro since I was 7. Emotions are weird, mysterious things.)

This is an intersection of beauty, math and nostalgia.
