Many people send me messages about my paint palette and what colours I use, so I thought I’d do up a video for you.

I separate my paints by 3 categories: transparent, staining & granulating.

So any pigment I have is falls into a yes or no state for those categories – then I’ve done my best to group them together in their categories by chroma.

The picture above is my new, clean palette reference guide that I’ve taped into the lid of my palette so even I can be reminded of which paint is in which well.

You can watch the full video on YouTube.

Teaching you how to recognize pigment colours regardless of the brand name.

Have you ever tried to find Winsor Blue in Holbein or M. Graham paint? Shit outta luck… unless you know how to read pigments.

THIS. Is my favourite. More video demos on the website.
Thanks for watching – you seriously get me off my butt and experimenting. Thank You. <3

Oh hello, more acrylic transfer experiments. I like this one the least. But, judge for yourself.

I thoroughly Fuh Fuh FAIL on one hand and win on the other with this self-levelling gel transfer video. Watch and awe.

I test Pebeo’s Glazing Resin on a gallery stretched canvas. I particularly like the bevelled edge you can achieve with the product.
