Hahaha!! Oh man…

I love when we can laugh about the darkness – it makes it less heavy. That’s probably why I love Louis CK so much – he can find humour in the most terrible things and he does it in a way that brings compassion and empathy as opposed to ridicule.

When I watch his stand up, I never get the sense that Louis thinks he’s apart or separate from the darkness. He is right smack dab in the middle with us.

In empathy and understanding.

Check out this clip of him sharing going to Russia right after the collapse of the Kremlin:

“…to see how bad life gets, and when it’s this bad – it’s still fucking funny.”

My life is far from bad – but I wanted to share how shame comes up for me in this life around body image.
